Retail Customer Service Job Responsibilities:
Serve customers by helping them select products. Drive sales through engagement with customers, suggestions, and sharing product knowledge. Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner. Respond to customers' questions.
Responsible for general retail workplace responsibilities in maintaining a clean, tidy and well presented shopping experience. Restocking and tidying displays, general cleaning, tidying and day to day maintenance of shop floor environment. Processing sales through a computer barcoded point of sale till system. Processing incoming deliveries, stock takes and some shop admin duties.
Promote the local, ecological & ethical standards of the company. Assistance with promotions, special offers and new ranges, encouraging engagement on social media platforms & website.
Applicants should be motivated self-starters, with a knowledge or interest in the area (North Clare, Cliffs and Burren Geopark, Irish Culture), willing to learn and adapt and be comfortable with computer technology, platforms and devices. We are looking for versatile, bright and enthusiastic applicants, retail/customer-service experience is beneficial but not essential. We create and print our own original design work, so interest/experience in art and design are welcome.
